Do you listen to podcasts? Would you like to start?

This guy really understands eschatology and the continuing expansion of the Kingdom (unfortunately, he’s also Reformed). Although he’s a preterist, not everything he says is about preterism, but instead he demonstrates how getting one’s eschatology right will influence one’s view on everything. His church is called Berean Bible Church, and his name is David Curtis. Here’s the link to the podcast subscription, which consists of the weekly sermon at BBC; lately he’s been working his way through Mark. There’s some really good stuff in here, so be sure to check it out. The BBC website is also quite informative; don’t miss the sad tale of how his church got started.

This “podcast” of which you speak…is it dangerous?

(Aside: Would you believe I have never in my life listened to a podcast? It’s sad, really)

‘Course it isn’t safe. But it’s good.

(Response to aside: Would that have anything to do with the “pod-” part? A principled matter?)

    Nice Mr. Beaver response, Steve.

What do you mean, unfortunately Reformed?

    Umm…nothing whatsoever!

Just a friendly jab at you and Daniel. I have both sympathies and reservations with the Reformed tradition. As for Curtis, he takes Reformed soteriology to an intriguing logical conclusion that nonetheless seems hard to reconcile with some key passages of scripture (in the Jan. 13 sermon called “Biblical Soteriology”).
