I have to admit that I would have thought this was pretty cool when I was young enough to want to color it.

There are a few related pictures at Jason Boyett’s site, which I’d never been to before today. Do check it out, along with his humorous comments.

I’ve seen that coloring page before, though just now looked at the recommendation on the colors. I’ll admit that makes it look a bit suspicious…

The humorous comments on that page are *definitely* worth clicking through for. I was going to paste one here won’t give away the spoiler. I’ll just say my favorite was about the baby Allosaurus… :^)

Yes, I strongly suspect that both the coloring page and the Allosaurus picture were created facetiously, but the Noah’s ark picture was probably done by an honest-to-gosh creationist.

Despite the discovery last week of color on the feathers of ptera (winged) dinosaurs, we still do not know the color of these land based critters. So suggesting colors for children is clearly outside the realm of science!

I really loved this post. In the coloring book, is Jesus running away from the threatening spiked sun? And you gotta love the Messiah as “Caped Crusader”! (OR is he wearing angel wings?)
